Mr. Li has represented major developers, international investment banks, corporations and private equity funds in a variety of merger and acquisition transactions.
He has advised major developers as their legal counsel on various matters over the years and represented major financial corporations in their provision of finance for real estate property developers.
Mr. Li has been involved in a number of domestic and global share offerings, including major initial public offerings (IPOs) and Hong Kong dual-listings.
He has also represented clients before a variety of Chinese courts in their settlement of commercial disputes.
Mr. Li began to practice law in 2005 and his practice has mainly been in the areas of real estate and construction. Prior to joining KingVie Lawyers in 2020, Mr. Li practiced with leading law firms in Beijing. During that time, he advised major local developers and real estate authorities, such as the Beijing Urban and Rural Construction Committee and the Beijing Real Estate Exchange. In recognition of his excellent practice, Mr. Li was named one of Beijing’s Ten Outstanding Young Persons in the field of Real Estate in 2009, the only lawyer among those honored.
Mr. Li currently serves as an arbitrator for more than ten arbitration commissions, including those in Zibo, Shenyang, Tangshan, Xiamen, Heyuan, and Zhongwei. He has eight years of experience as the legal director of an A-share listed company and has been practicing law for over ten years. He specializes in handling complex civil and commercial disputes, with a primary focus on corporate law, partnership law, and contract law. He has managed numerous cases related to corporate affairs, investment and financing, mergers and acquisitions, funds, and construction projects.
As the lead project manager on the client side, he has successfully completed pre-listing private equity financing of 500 million yuan, reverse mergers, and more than 20 investment and acquisition deals. During his legal practice, he has provided legal services to entities such as China Huarong Asset Management Co., the Economic Daily, China Foods Group, and the Guanghua Foundation.
